Spotted this mailbox when we left the tractor show today. I told my wife we had to turn around and snap some pics.

I notice the next one has been "reshaped" by some kids. Wonder if it's a warning not to try hitting THIS one.

Thanks Grand, Did your wife roll her eyes when you told her what you were going to do? LOL Mine would...

That is a one of a kind mailbox, something you don't see everyday. Thanks for sharing.

When I stopped to take the picture I didn't even realize the other mailbox had been altered. Linda didn't even see the mailbox when we drove by. Till I saw it and said something to her we were already past, but I told her we would go back to get a picture. When she saw it on the return drive, she enjoyed it as much as I did when I first spotted it.( You have to remember that her ankle is still healing and she doesn't get out much. ) As a side note, the house up the driveway does not look like the Addams Family House.

That's definitely interesting...a bit on the macabre side for me, but hey it takes all kinds to make this crazy little world go 'round! Thanks for posting the pics! There are a couple nearby that are interesting also. My FIL carved a horse and mounted his mailbox to it. It really puts me in the mind of a Knight from the chessboard. I'll have to get some pics of it and the other one that I'm gonna leave as a mystery till I get some pics!

OK. As promised here are some pictures of the interesting mailboxes that are near me. This first one is the mailbox that my FIL carved about a year ago.

These next couple are the "surprise" that I was telling you about!

I have been busier than belief over the past couple of weeks (and no end in sight), so I haven't had the chance to stop and get shot at...I mean talk to the owner yet, but I intend to do so when I have a few minutes to dodge bullets or talk...whichever he's got in mind for the visit.

Some really nice mail boxes. The one with the horse head didn't come cheap I'll bet.

Those are both great. It's a wonder someone hasn't poached the WH off the last one.
