Just an update for the restore project. I am wondering is there anywhere I can get the seals for the axles and brake shaft? I do not want any leaks...

Glad to see you are making progress, thanks for the pics!

I would see if Mission Manufacturing has the seals. They have the rights to the power king name and they do reproduce SOME stuff. You might get lucky and find some seals.

Just an update again. I am really ready for this project to come to an end. For some reason I keep getting runs with this paint. It either goes on really thin or heavy. Their is no in between. Anway its for a slight looker and mostly worker. Anyway I wanted to know bout the Hydro. pump.... When holding the pump with no fluid in it should it be mostly free or have resistance???????? Not sure if mine is any good....

Well no new pictures yet. I did assemble the rear diff and bull gear inner case to the frame. Awaiting for outer case to dry and assemble. I was lucky to find someone close ( 2 miles away hahahaha ) to sand blast/ self etch primer/ sand/ primer/ and paint the rest of the tractor. ( FEL/tunnel/hood/grill/fenders/dash/3 pt. and little items) All that for under $400.00. This is not the way I want to go. I wanted to clean and paint all myself but for the rice and for the fact i need the loader in a month I couldnt turn it down. Question i still have s for the hyro. pump and also the hood latch. For the latch to be attached their is a really slim rivet. Now where do i purchase these? If no what do you guys use???????? And also where is the best place for decals??????

I would post your hydro question in a new topic. Sometimes it is best to get questions out front where they can be seen easier.

Again, Mission Manufacturing is a good place to get stuff. They reproduce decals and sell them HERE.

You should be able to buy rivets that small. You need the ones with the flat backside or it will hit on the side of the dashboard. You can probably buy them at the local hardware store.

Yelp just postin in here. I haven't got to much done to project. I have made the mistake of cleaning most parts at house and the rest at work so I have lost some parts in-between the two. Can't move on untill items are found. HAHAHAHA it happens to the best of use. Anyway just bumpin the thread.

So I am putting the front axle together and was going to place of the center shaft that it pivots on. Now before I tighten down the giant nut, is there a washer in-between the two and between the nut and axle??? I have some diagrams but they do not show anything???

Welp I just wanted to check in finally.. Welp last night was the first start and drive on the rebuild. Work was slow so I figured its time to finish this thing. I decided to use a ATF for my Hydraulic fluid and for drive line fluids i decided to use a STP oil addative (15cc) to each trans and diff and bull box along with the 85-90W gear oil. After about and hour of that and hour of plumbing hydro lines it was time to fire it up. It runns ok but needed tuned and I found that the 2nd trans has slight leak and that the front trans wont shift now.. Sucks before the build i had to fix the 2nd trans for a no shift.. HAHAHA its how my cookie crumbled. I was not able to take pixs last night but I will update today sometime with some pixs. I have to try and fix a couple things like the hose grommets and a small misc. stuff
