Well it is not raining yet but the forcast is calling for it. Going anyway, I don't get to do this enough to waste the chance. Not taking tractors, just my "new" Sattley and some other smalls. This is a small show and with the forcast will probably be real small, taking the camera will post some pics of what is there.

I am headed back out today for the OATA show, this year we will be doing Thrashing with a 1936 Case Thrasher and then some plowing. I will be using my little DB with 6" plow and competing against full size tractors pulling 2 or 3 bottom plows.

Well, I figured we would get wet, but the show really actually just "blew away" We got there a bit before 8 am with the wind just howling, the porta potties were laying on their sides and the rain coming down sideways..... The club's big tent had blown up-over-down about 2 am, and the few folks who had come and camped out Friday night had tents blown over and everything soaked. The fellows i was with did not want to stay and so we headed home. I headed back to the show field alone a little after 11 as the rain had stopped at our place and things looked to be getting better, got back on the other side of the mountains and it was worse yet, wind gusts over 50 mph and still more rain, most of the few folks still there were getting ready to leave. So much for that show. No pics as you would have needed a scuba divers camera to get any and who needs to see a pooper on its side....... :confuse:

Sorry to hear this Peter. Like Brian said, you have a good time coming to you. Long range forecast for Evansville is still good.
