Congrats!! That looks like one heck of a beast!! I've never seen one of those before.
You got a great deal on it too!! Usually you couldn't get that with just a FEL for that price!!
Good luck with it, I'm sure you'll have her work ready in no time

You got a great deal on it

I'll second Ryan on that one. That is a fantastic deal especially with accessories. Congratulations. Please post many more photos when you get it going and use it.

I agree, can't buy anything under $2000 and in crap shape with a FEL on it.

Congrats on the new tractor. The 600 series are awesome machines.
Is this your first Case? There are a few things unique to these critters.
First thing you'll want to do is change the hydraulic oil. It takes 15/40 motor oil, not hydraulic fluid.
That may help your travel issue but you might need to adjust the linkage also. Do a search on "banana plate" and you'll get an idea of how the linkage works and the issues with it.

The instructions below are out of a manual for a newer machine and the oil level on your tractor should be about two inches down from the filler neck.

Got under the 646,Found the banana plate, looks to be very worn. Adjusted it as much as I could, fired her up( wont fire up with out a touch of fuel down the carb and the starter has a hard time engaging) drove her up and down the alley a couple times and she stalled out. Checked out the fuel filter, fuel was rusty color, checked the tank, lots of rust. Any one know the best way to clean a fuel tank? I've seen talk about sealer any one have a brand name?

Cleaning a gas tank? There are several ways that have been discussed here. Lots of guys have lashed them to the side of another GT, (rinse well with water ) throw some nuts in it, and go for a long drive ( or mow the lawn).

Others have used electrolysis (I did this last time) and several liner options have been used.
