This is an engine I picked up at a show. It is complete with wiring and stuff to make it run, we hope. It had an odd pto lever on it to start the pulley for whatever it ran. I have removed that and found good size shaft and mount face, hopefully to take PK clutch and parts. Just kinda wondering if anyone can tell what brand it is off from and if any interest in that clutch system. Think it said Power Drive or close, look at pictures here. It is orange, has little odder intake tube and cleaner and the Start/Gen on it. I haven't tried to start yet. going to mount it to a PK frame and do that soon. I tried to take pix of the serial, but too shiny to see much. I forgot to write it down before comeing in. It's a K241, so is 10 hp right?

I know just what that is! That is a 10 hp Kohler out of a Jacobsen 1000. That is the Factory manual PTO clutch form those Tractors and The old Ford 100 (like I have).

Keep all that together! Those covers are hard to find!!!!!! (In good condition) I know there have been members looking for those.

The clutch disc and some of the parts are still available through Mesikics But not cheap.

You are right! Jacobsen made all the Fords. This is just Jac's color.

One more thing, I just looked up your engine it is from 1966. So it is out of a 66 Jacobsen 1000 GT.

I have the same set ups. I have a 65 and 69 Jac. and a 67 Ford.

Hey, gonna try to use the engine! Don't want/need the clutch....So......make an offer, pay the shipping and it can be yours! Not sure what covers you were talking about, engine tin? Won't be going anywhere. I know the Gen drive stuff is diff than the starter type, ran into that in past projects. Will be getting it mounted to try to start soon, I'll let you know what I got! Buy that clutch! Have all the brackets and parts for it there. Seemed to "snap" closed OK.

The Cover I was talking about is the Aluminum one with "Power- Drive" on it. That cover usually winds up breaking or wearing.

I would post a classified for it. I would rather it go to a member that is missing those pieces, instead of me ( who already has them)

Even that PTO handle is good. Usually they are missing and people have to make one. (That and the knob are OEM)

Good luck on the engine!! They are one of my favorites.

Someone please WANT this drive or might go to junk. Loading trailer now with junk been around too long and no real uses. FREE
A little help on shipping would be nice, fairly heavy! Just a note on engine. K241 B231354 Spec 46264D. Mean anything special to anyone?

If you are going to junk it, I'll take it and hang onto it in case someone needs one. You can send me a PM with the shipping total if you like.
Thanks, Chris
