It's time for the annual Trenton, MO Farm Equipment Show June 15th & 16th! Show will be held at the NCMO Fair grounds livestock pavilion. .3 miles north of 9th St. & Oklahoma Ave. stop light.

Most anything farm & garden related is welcome (tractors, machinery, L&G, old trucks, etc.), no entry fees, large area under roof. There will be a approx. 1 hour drive at 1 pm (weather permitting) past the nursing homes & through town (about 4 miles).

Farm/L&G swap meet included!

We have a small show, a couple dozen farm tractors & a couple dozen lawn & garden tractors. Show is in conjunction with the annual "Gooseberry Festival" which has many events around town; run/walk, gooseberry cooking contests, auction to benefit the museum, chili cook-off, etc. ~~ Lowell

Had a nice, though small show today about 50 miles from home. I took my 314, 317 Special, 70 I & L/60 Custom:





Gtractor had his Case there, also a JD 214, a couple of Speedex, Oliver & some custom pullers in the garden tractor classes:

The 214 was NOT mine! Geeze Lowell, people will think I've gone green.

Lowell also took home some very nice and well deserved trophys [plural] but he is too modest to mention them.

I wasn't the only one to take home more than I brought!

Now, on to our show in Trenton, I have to go be on the local radiostation's "open line program" this morning to talk about the up-coming show. Don't really like the "public" part that much!

Lowell, I was out of reach of KTTN radio by that time of morning but I'm sure you did great!

Few years ago when I was president of the local tractor club they made me go 'live' on the radio and I was ho-hummin' around that I didn't want to do it when a member said "awww come on Kris, you may not have the voice for the radio but you sure have the face for it!"

Sorry, the three are all I took!

I take a "cheat sheet" to the radio station & pretty much read it off. Still, the MC cut me off before I got the contact numbers read, oh well. Still don't like doing it much, but somebody has to! ~~ Lowell

It's been busy this morning! Talked to the Park Superintendent again to double check the building for the show. Then the Police Chief about an escort for the drive. Called both nursing homes to notify them.

When I got home, I started cleaning some of my stuff. Wednesday, I and my show helper will go check the tractor of the fellow we named the show in honor of (he got the show started), so we can bring it in Friday.

There's a lot of preparation even for a small show!
