I have a Sears Craftsman sleeve hitch unit and am looking to sell on Craigslist or Ebay. Or even here, if anyone is interested.

It looks to be a Craftsman model of some type, but don't know which tractor it fits. The ID tag is partially gone.

Also, is it missing any critical parts?

Thank you in advance.

- Mark

About the only thing missing I can see is the rod to the lift handle and the pins for the hitch itself. That is basically what my GTV had on it before the 3-point!

Thank you Kenny! Do you happen to know the model number and other models this will fit? Also, what would this sell for on Craigslist.

Thank you!

The model # on mine is 917.252312. It will fit most all models with the slanted panel in the back. Mine also has the link for the electric lift on the cross shaft. What is it worth? Can't say, I don't watch for these items. But it is one healthy sleeve hitch.

Mark, Kenny's right about that fitting almost everything physically, but it isn't universal. That lift assembly is an older version that was built to not have a lift handle. I have seen 2 versions and I don't know the difference.

One was designed to use another piece of flat steel that hooked up to the small arm on the lift, went up thru the body of the tractor, and hooked up to the mower deck lift, the other utilized an electric lift unit mounted under the LH side of the seat and attached to that same point.

Is is possible that the version with the lift lever bar is a universal piece to that era, but lost popularity because you couldn't use anything else on the tractor at the same time. IE, if you wanted to use the dozer blade and the back blade on the same tractor, they were both going up and down together, no separate control like the ones with their own handle or the electric lift.

I know the first version was used in the late 80's/thru the 90's IDK when the second was in use.

Here is a pic of it on a tractor. Here, it's using the flat bar.

The Sears site is down for maintenance, but I believe it is 757.252313 ?

Looks identical to the one on my 1988 6000. I believe I still have the lift arm, if you are interested PM me.

Thank you everyone for the good feedback. I found a Craigslist buyer who knew the model and had use for it.

I don't know the exact model, but the buyer has a GTV garden tractor.

I'm not sure if you can see the cross shaft very well in this pic, but here is mine.
