Finally, after untold weeks I have my laptop back -even better than ever and catching up to you guys will be a challenge-For those who've not noticed my absence-and those who have, I certainly missed you-all. I'm still driving but now I can carry the net with me.

I've been 4000 grueling miles in a ricketey Ford van since mid-April: Texas 3 times ,Oklahoma twice
New Orleans, and last night back from beautiful Paducah KY. A couple of days to charge batteries and on to Ft Worth Mon PM and hopefully a week off.

Its paid off though- A hood for my Case 442, a heat exchanger and engine for the 446 a new hearing aid for my left ear-that I lost-and fixing this laptop-

I had a woman helping me for a couple of weeks, but replaced her today to avoid bloodshed. Sometimes its great to be single no matter how old you are.

Now with the Dell fixed, maybe I can look in on the members a minute while enroute somewhere and Kenny
keep the coffee ready-----------------LeeB

Glad you made it back! My computer died on me too, but I HAD to go out & replace it the same day. I get awful withdrawal symptoms when I'm away from GTT more than 3 or 4 hours!

I know the feeling-I was so busy perhaps that allayed the withdrawal symptoms. I waited for my brother to fix it-took to long -finally took it to a neighborhood shop THIS AM- they said I could have it back by my departure time Monday-then they realized that they werent' open Mon and had it fixed by 4PM
A virus hooked to AVG and the baby cruises and nearly evertything is new.

I just hope I don't break it

Good to hear from you again Lee.
I was wondering, if you'd driven off the edge of the map.
Are the tractors OK?

The gathering is as slow as everything else-He still has the WH and I've had no luck in making a deal yet-I've been on the road 19 days straight and my plan is to go see him tomorrow-(if I can walk, that is)

Wow is right! 19 days and the doc would have to deliver GTT posts via IV drip to me to get me out of my coma!

I hadn't ever noticed that women were so easily replaceable, not like an oil filter or something. You can run them off sometimes, but then you have to wait to bring in the next one. Oh, well, welcome back!

Brian, I stopped in there on the way back from OK city and the tractors are in used 40ft semi trailers and pretty dark in there-I could see a nice JD (unrestored) with the 3 Hyd controls left of the steering wheel/hood. The paint on the fender area was flaking and he was thinking a repainted patio-I dont't know.
