It's not #8 that is the problem, but rather #3...

I was referring to the gir.....uhh, tractor, not the vote.

Is anyone else voting, or is there a new strategy? At least 30 of the last 32 votes were mine.

We're up to 621 now, but #3 is at 975.

I think you have to get off the net. I know that I do on dial-up.

Has anybody tried this site today? Had a little success over the weekend clearing the cache as suggested. Now it won't show me anything other than the pictures.

Over the weekend, I learned a little something. "3" is owned by the people who are sponsoring the contest.

Hmmmm..... :rofl2:

Guys, I appreciate all the efforts, I believe this one is stacked in favor of the "house"

My Uncle was very quiet when I went into the details of all the people who were helping. He said "Thank them for me" and then turned away for a while.
So, on behalf of my Uncle and Late Aunt, Thank You.

I don't think I'd count him out yet. I had read some of the comments about 3 and the fact it was a Kubota and Kubota was a sponsor but didn't see where that pic was actually owned by one of the sponsors. I'd say something is up. It looks like they have pulled the voting, the totals, and the comments. It will be interesting to see what happens next.

That happened this morning between 7 and 8. I guess they didn't like the idea that someone else could jam in votes almost as well as they could. By 10 am yesterday my voting had closed the gap to less than 250 votes and they stuffed the ballot box with over 100 votes between 10 and 4 while I slept. This morning I had the difference cut back to 225 and they changed the site to hide the scores. The comments disappeared sometime after that.

I can still vote, but lord knows how many votes they've added.

The first tractor is also a Kubota, but hasn't been garnering anywhere near the votes of #3. That makes me suspicious about who the model is related to as well as who owns the tractor. You would think that the 11 young ladies on #1 could generate a lot of friends and relatives to vote.

Posted ImageMH81, tell your uncle, on behalf of the enthusiasts here, that he is most welcome. In my opinion, his efforts deserve all the credit for a most worthy endeavor and I'm honoured to be able to lend my support.

He deserves to win! Perhaps an appeal to the members of other forums could still make this possible? Your call. I estimate a need for at least 3000 votes over the next 2 days to win this for your uncle, and only if the majority of those votes come in the last 2 hours of the contest. Even then it's doubtful, if the contest is as fully rigged as it appears to be. It's worth a shot.

Alan, can he become a member here and put his tractor in our Featured Tractor contest? If so, I'll vote for it!
If nothing else, maybe a deal can be worked out with LAGT to do an article on it.

It did just let me get a couple more votes in. That's more than I got earlier. Still no results. One of the groups I sent it out to was the ATIS antique tractor list. This was one of the replies. I thought Alan's uncle might appreciate it.

I voted for #5, but just a few notes.
#2 would have a better chance at winning on an old 4010 or 4020. These
new ones just don't have the class......
#3 would have been much better posed on the hood of an old Oliver. The
yellow would have made a nice contrast with the Dark green Oliver. I
prefer my orange tractors to be AC.
If that was my dog in #4 he would have been in the seat!!!!!! I would
vote for the dog.
#6 is just wrong!
#10 needed a better shot of the tractor. Those old Olivers had the
customized streamlined grill.

I would like to give an ATTABOY! to the restorer of the Pink tractor.
