I finally got our CC 125, 480U deck tore apart and found the spindle shaft and pulley worn pretty badly. I would like to locate a new/used shaft and pulley. If I can't, I will repair this one, but it will take some time to repair.. Here are some photo's, Thanks

Try jpcubs. I tore a deck apart and he wanted the spindles. Might just be what you want. I don't know the model # right off hand.

Just an idea, check with a maintenance machine shop. I worked for one for about ten years and we made all kinds of shafts and pulleys. The prices were reasonable. It was a small shop, just the owner and me. Worth a shot if you can find one in your area.

Theres is a junk yard right up the road from me. There is probably 25 Cub Cadet decks there. I could find you a good one if you wanted me too.

Thanks Geno, I can make the shaft and bush the pulley in my shop. I will cost more in time and materials then a good used one I think.

I am tight with money and would rather spend time making than buying. Most of the time it is cheaper time wise to buy. I have more time than money though.

I have the same spindles on my deck. When I rebuilt them I put the top seal in upside down, so when I grease them the grease will not push the seal out.
