I was at a conference in Saratoga Springs NY this week. Yesterday, I took a drive in the afternoon. I just pointed the car east and went. I saw a sign and went towards Troy NY.
I was somewhere I had never been and then saw two older lawn mowers for sale on the side of the road. One was Gilson, not too bad, the other was an older sears, from the 70's that was in great shape. It had the strangest looking grass shredder or something on it. It was a yellow mower with a large cylinder that had a collection hose off the mower deck. A separate motor was on this cylinder.
The sears tractor said 18 hp and looked like an SS as far as I could tell. The sign on it said 1300. It looked barely used.
I just thought someone might want to go by and look at it.
I looked up on google and found where I was. Route 40 and Doty Rd in Melrose NY.

I'm not from anywheres near there, but that mower was a treat to look at. I hope this type of post is ok.

I should have snapped a pic, but I didn't.

Your post is fine, actually encouraged because then it helps to keep these old machines alive.
