For anyone with an Elec-Trak or New Idea or Wheel Horse variation and an occasional visitor to Elec-Trak.org , check out the Rsvp invitation for July 28 . Still shopping for new camera worthy of the event . That is Bennington VT . Will check later for correction on title.

DH1 asked about whether this should be combined with the event of same topic . My opinion is that since this event is part of the official history project they should both stand on their own merits .The reunion part may be a one time event and will need a photo album .

Just back from Bennington Center For The Arts where Mr Laumeister hosted a 40 th reunion and gathering of enthusiasts.
Great time had by all . Wish DH1 had been there . Minimal rain . The obligatory back to back tractor pull , gas vs electric
AND ...... electric vs electriic EGT vs Mark Frerkings 40 anniversary S.E special edition . Pics will follow , I got em. More later. Sparky.

Back to Back tractor pull . 40 th anniversary edition vs EGT 200 . Not the best pic but was hurry up before the owners could change their minds . The cheat part was wet pavement .

On first pull the S.E. with differential lock . On second pull , three extra riders on the New Idea gave the advantage to the N.I. At that point the N.I. owner said it was over .

I am still in a quandry about the situation of the first mass produced one being in service 42 years later or Mark's dramatic re-creation. I was hoping to see " 001 " . Maybe next year .

This years event tentatively scheduled July 20  2013 .   And  001 may be brought in by a Brink's truck.
