I am considering buying the Dixon 30" ZTR Speedster for its maneuverability. However, I do not see any Dixon mowers discussed in the lawn mower forums. Also, all of the lawn cutting services in our area do not use Dixon mowers. There must be a reason for this. Is it reliability? The prices seem to be competitive. :confuse:

Possibly service or parts availability?

There's a dealer/service center 2 miles from our home.

Huh, IDK then. Maybe talk to one of the landscapers next time you see them?

My Dad bought a Dixon in the late 70's and used it until 91; then bought another one.  It was used to mow many yards by me in my teenage years and then retired for a while.  Just last year I pulled it out of the barn, did a mini-resto on it and my folks are back using it.  A great quality mower at least the older ones were.
