Here are a few pics. There are a few things I needed for my D4-7 and T63 at home

I am hoping there is at least one if not two good axles in this one. The front emblem was a bonus. Has a rough pto clutch that may be salvageable..

The transaxle on the T-63 and the D4-7 has some things in common. Both have a caste aluminum casing- both use same axles - both have basically the same internals but the D4-7 has the rear pto which the T63 does not

Will tear it down and see what else I can use.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1337436223.985608.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1337436243.293527.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1337436267.069529.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1337436287.111579.jpg

I hope you can get the parts you need off it. How common are the Bush hog tractors? I don't think they ever made it to the Canadian market.

That's great! I hope it has all the parts you need.I know myself I would have a hard time parting that one out.
Good luck!

When parts are hard to find as they are for those tractors, an organ donor is almost a must.

Break the news to it gently, make sure she knows her parts are going to good homes.

When I look at the pictures I want to restore it! The parts I need are not available...it's hard to part them. I have a parts d4-10 at home as well.
But I need parts and my others are in better shape. But she will live on in the others. :-)
I will break it to her gently and she can keep the parts d4-10 company.

So you are needing the pto clutch off this T-63? Mine has been welded together, so I have to roll the belt off to drive without the deck turning. Right now I have the deck off anyway.

I have not taken the picture yet but it came with the round I think 32" deck, I believe it is a M32A deck - will look at my manuals and measure the deck when I get home

Right now between all 6 bh, I have only 2 pto clutches ... So are they that rare?

The T-63 clutches aren't for the D series. Pretty much just for the T-63 as I know.

A pto clutch off a Cub cadet will fit right on the D4-10 and work right with the OE engagement system of the D4-10. Just cut off the belt start pulley from the back of the CC clutch.

Well did some work on the parts T63 today......motor actually ran for about 3 minutes.....could not get the throttle to work....so pulled it off and clean it up, etc...put it back on.......would not run.....it will catch/fire and it sounds like it is going keep running but it does not....think the bearings are going out in the starter generator...pretty noisey......right now the motor is not my major focus ....so the motor will go to the back burner....... I needed a good rear end...especially axles.....well pulled it off.....one hub came off easily and the axle was in great shape.....went to the do the other side and the hub is stil on it after 10-15 minutes of coersion not working......I went ahead and pulled both the axle and the axle tubes.....the transaxle case was full of dirt so clean it out.....the pinion gears and differential were all good and the cluster gears for shifting look new.......hopefully tomorrow will get the other hub off to check that axle then finish cleaning out everything......put it back together and put it on my T63 keeper...

I also worked on the D4-10....has a leaky rear axle seal......I had picked this transaxle to replace the one in it because the cluster gears were shredded......well same story.....one hub popped right off.....the other would not come.......I then noticed the end of the axle had been pounded on a few times by the previous owner......obviously to get it off.....with no luck either.......I filed down the ends so the bolt would turn over it......then worked on the hub some more........as of now the hub has still not budged.....is there a trick to getting these frozen ones off??

Just a good puller & patience, and some heat goes a long long way!

NO problem, just thought I'd ask. These T-63 pto clutches are hard to come by!
