Since I put this together, I have wanted a bumper on the front. More or less to protect the grille and hood. So today, I made one up. Here you go:

And , just for everyone's enjoyment, tomorrow is bath day in GT Land. So stay tuned! New thread to follow!

Nice bumper, that should work nice to keep her name scratch free and pretty. Bet she likes to show everyone her makeover.

She'll be happier tomorrow after her bath! Not sure what kind of deodorant she likes yet!

Looks great. I really like the red accents Kenny. Bertha still looks like she's smiling to me.

Great bumper Kenny, keep building things. One suggestion, space it out more to protect against downhill fences lol.

Another fine addition to Bertha! That looks good Kenny and it is really a great idea for any tractor, should keep the front out of trouble. But you know you are still going to scratch it somehow, somewhere, sometime :(. I will agree with Brian that it looks like she is smiling for us.

I'm thinking, you better do a bit more welding Kenny.

Nice job on the bumper Kenny. Turned out nice. You have inspired me to build a bumper for the 1572 smoker now. I have a couple pieces of polished 2" stainless I have been wondering what to do with.

IamSherwood that bumper looks like something from the Road Warrior. LOL

I like that, Will! I may come back and add some more later. But for now, it'll work. At least I won't bump the hood into anything and crack it. I'll have the hood up today, so I can figure what clearance is needed there. I have an idea working, just thinking it over. I need to get her a set of taillights yet too.

I had thought of making another grille piece with teeth in it. :bigrofl:
