Been working on the B on and off as I can. Got the new steering parts made for it and they work great. Just got the new wheels back the other day. I just wheeled it out of the shop to degrease it last night. Now I am ready to prep for paint. I don't have the tools or facility to do a full blown restore on this tractor like I would liek to, but it will look pretty good when it's done. Here's what it's looking like now with the new wheels and steering installed.

David,
That is looking very nice. Hope your steering will work well now, tiller steering takes some getting used to and if it is really sloppy
it gets to be a scary ride at any kind of speed.

Well I got most of the painting done. The seat is now done and on the tractor (pics were taken before this happened). All I have to do now is the engine and we're off to the races. I wish I had a better equipped shop where I could do a more complete job. There are things that I am still not happy with but I just don't have what I need to correct them. I'll just tell everyone that it's an experimental tractor.

It's looking great! The drivetrain looks pretty heavy duty in those tractors.

Just got done painting the engine this evening. I'll give it a day or two before I try to put the rest of the parts back on and mount it on the tractor. A little too tacky yet.

There have been tractors over the years that we have intentionally left the PO's mods intact as a conversation piece. Always intriguing to see cornfield engineering.

Your B is looking great, looking forward to the assembly pics.

Well, with the exception of a few little things (the throttle cable being the biggest) it's done. I was going to wait for some help to put the engine back on so I didn't scratch the paint on the frame but I got impatient. Believe it or not, that Z isn't all that heavy and I was able to place it just where I need it. It's all good. Neat little tractor. Can't wait to drive it.
