Yep! Oliver was only $5000 to buy, not a misprint here! Only 300 made he said. Made by Jacobsen. I saw that guy with all those odd tractors today too and no one around. Saw a Jacques ? and a Mayrath, couple real odd ones. Mayrath was $1800 and not even connected at trans/engine area, so probly not a driver. Too many people not setting with stuff. How do they expect to sell? I looked at a few items with interest, but no one there. Friday our last day, not selling much, so not going Sat. Many pull out on Sat morn anyway. My buddy has a Bolens chain saw for $125. Anyone interested? 260-388-4588 if you wanna call on it. No fuel in it now, has compression. Looks pretty good. Selling for freind. Also still have my Massey 1655 there, not many lookers. figured it would bring more attention. 3pt hitch with it! Asking $350, or make an offer.

That is a big swap meet! Awesome pictures, I believe it would be hard to control myself seeing so many tractors wanting a ride home.

WOW! I would have bought the MF14 and the MF 7 in a heart beat!!! :(

The mf 14 went for $220.00 will see if the mf7 is there tomarrow. I have a friend at church wanting mine because he has the full size model that matches the looks. He may be interested in fixing one up himself.

John Deere and Cub cadet were the top 2 sellers by far. Simplicity made a good showing also.

Ok here was day 3 of the meet. Here was a bolens for $300.00 sitting next to a massey ferguson 7. Both were very rough.
I had to go back and revisit the old bolens greens mower??? Took 2 more shots at it for you guys to file away in your albums of hope to find! :laughingteeth: . I did see the price on this this time. You ready?? $350.00. I don't know if that was the final price or not.
I met GLGrumpy at the show and took photos of his Bolens chain saw. This is a real neat item. Decals were very presentable. Colors were good. Would make a neat item for the die hard bolens man, Doc are you listening??? :smilewink:
Now I am a sign guy and thought this was neat since the old bolens have wisconsin engines.
And oh yea did I say I was parked next to the guy that was buying all the rare stuff? He got this Bantum also, the bright orange one. Thinking I was one ahead of him I found this second orange one for $900.00 and told him about it. He already had talked to the guy and said he would not come down on price any.
I am going to plug this mans web sight here. I have not been to it yet so don't judge me but it sounds very interesting, go to raregardentractors.com Anne and Daryel Shaffer run it and show parts of thier collection there.
This green tractor I believe was called a Garden? came up to talk to them and was very neat.

Oh did I forget I bought something??? Doc this one was for you since you convinced me it was a great buy. No I did not pay full price. After driving a hard bargin with the owner , just like the guys on American Pickers I came home with the bolens lighted sign. The photos show it lit up in my shop on the work bench. The clock still runs but have not had it on long enough to see if it will keep time correctly.

This one was not for sale but I over heard them telling Darylel Shaffer that they had 2 others for sale and was showing him photos. YOu might be able to go to thier web sight and contact him to ge the lead.
I did check ou the web page and there is a lot of good looking mowers there. Might make a good link for GTtalk web page if someone wanted to check it out. He is making reproduction parts for the bantams.
