The computer itself really does make a world of difference on page load speed and it isn't just the internet connection speed.

I am glad you got the good news from the doc as well.

I sure hope he gets a tech who knows what he / she is doing. I don't know how many times I have gotten a call about the DSL being down and a tech comes out and screws everything up. Wish him luck.

Techs in the field are great, but the ones back at the office screw stuff up! Back up & running! Was in the substation a cvouple miles away. Field tech got it fixed, but required reprogramming back at the main office 50 miles away. They screwed it all up & had to do it again. Field tech called back & apologized for the office screwup. We have super quick service from our field guys, and I appreciate what they do. Sure is good to be back, but not here for long. Gotta haul another laod of corn, then milk this evening. See you guys more tonight.

Sounds like you got a good tech out your way. I find the knowledge and experience of the techs here to be variable. Sometimes they haven't a clue what to do and other guys are excellent. When we had the Fibre installed here they sent a great crew. The guy called me a couple of times at work to make sure he was doing what I needed and they even prepped for more outlets in the future while here. Some friends had a total mess getting theirs connected. Same company but different crew!

Ordered a SATA Hard drive to USB adapter so I can hopefully get all my data from the old hard drive. I just hope the hard drive still functions. This is a replacement hard drive as the original bit the dust a couple years back. I forgot about it till I pulled the hard drive out & seen the manufacture date.
