Those are neat, and that's not an unreasoable price for that unit. I think they go for around $12,000-$14,000 new, that's the big hold up in my case..
Truth be told that would be the perfect size for my 9 acre place.
That size baler would be a good fit for hobby farms and people keeping,rabbits, 1 small milk cow or a couple calves, goats or sheep.
Women or children who need to feed their stock and find full size square bales cumbersome could handle the 30 lb bales.
There is also a novelty market out there for Halloween design .
Or would make garden mulching easy. Landscaping people might like them also.
I've done some checking and these small bales do command a high dollar, around$5.00- $6.00 ea, vs $2.50-3.00 square bales.
I honestly believe it could be a money maker once set up.
