Well, it was a "nervous" day. I called the seller to tell him I would be there this evening to look at what he had. He informed me that "another guy" would be stopping by, earlier, and I was to give him a call before I left home. I figured everything would be gone, but it was all still there!! I got Front Blade, Snow Blower, Tiller, and actual Bolens Wheel Weights (rear) all for $260.00. Seems to be plenty of original paint on everything, so I don't think it was used much. Tiller is the little narrow one... 22 inch? What do you guys think? All seemed like an excellent deal to me! It filled up the floor of the minivan pretty good!
He also has a 1225 for sale. A little pricey though. He wants 7 or $800 for it. Has a "like new" Honda 13 horse installed for the engine. Can't say as I blame him for the asking price, I'd guess the engine alone to be worth that much, but it's too rich for me. Sure would be nice though. Has hydraulic lift on it.
Also has an old Wheel Horse (vertical engine that is stuck). Not something I would call a collector tractor, but it is built pretty heavy. The mower deck for it is built like a tank! He wanted $75.00 for it. I was pretty tempted because of the fact that it had wheel weight on the rear wheels. Never saw a lawn mower with small rear tires and wheel weights. But I had to pass it up.
Oh yeah... almost forgot to mention... the box scraper that was listed turned out to be just another front blade from some other tractor. Not sure where the confusion about that came from!
