Hello everyone.

As Case is not my brand and my Brother has asked my opinion of the price/deal, I thought maybe I could get some input from all of you in the know. Any comments appreciated, dont hold back :)

Looks like a very capable machine, and looks taken care of. I'm sure I'm just being cheap here, but it's a little steep for my blood. There are full sized tractors with loaders around here for those $ occasionally.

Wish I could give an informed opinion as to what to look for & what it's really worth...
Best I can do is :bump: the thread.

They are great machines, if you like Case. I am NOT a fan of any GT with a loader that does not have pedal control hydro (or hydriv). God didn't give us enough arms & hands to operate loader GT's with hand controlled hydro.
I am with Alan on the price too. Though the market demands such prices for a machine like that, I just would not give it & would go with a small farm tractor with loader.......or build my own GT loader like I ended up doing.

Sounds a little high when I can buy Ford Backhoe for $ 2500. ( and it runs and works).

I thought it was a little steep also. I don't know what they normally go for but a 600 series is one of the tractors I would like to have.

While that one does look clean a 600 series Case can be had for about half that especially one that doesn't have a three point hitch. You just have to keep an eye out and be ready to jump because they'll go quick at $2000 but will set around longer at the higher price. The model 648 has power steering and will bring more.
Daniel the Case GTs do have hand operated travel levers but the 600 series loaders have a lever in the same location that only controls forward or reverse and then you have a foot pedal on the right side that gives you variable speed travel control. The joys stick loader valve design is very nice also.
They where designed by the same engineers that built the Case 580 Construction King backhoes and are very industrial machines not toys.
With all that being said I don't blame him for asking what he is and I wouldn't sell mine for much less.

Thank you very much for the comments guys, I think I will steer him away from that, I thought it was kind of high price too.
