I recently picked up a Cub 1250, a newer version, because it has the automatic relese for the hydro. However, i have an issue, because the shift lever will not budge, and i do not want to force it. The brake is off, but the pedal sits lower than it should, like its missing a spring? what can i do to unseize the shift lever, so i can be able to drive this thing. Thanks!

Will the shift lever move if you hold the brake pedal all the way up?

I would take the tunnel cover off first and see what you got going on under there. You can see most all of the linkage for underneath the cover. A couple pics of underneath the cover would be helpful also.

you need to un hook some linkage and narrow down where the problem is.if its froze or jammed no use trying to move it all at once.narrow down the problem

Your going to have to get that brake pedal all the way up before you can get the hydro control to move. I just went through this with my 1450.
