First one to break down has to do photos and videos, right?

What an outstanding inaugural plow day!
I just wish we could have stayed longer. We definitely plan on making the trip again next year (With tractors next time :D )
Daniel, Teresa, & family are nothing short of excellent hosts... to quote Grumpy "Good plowing, good food, good friends"

Wow is not enough. I just got home from Daniels plow day. I think we got to see the birth of a must attend annual event. I didn't take a camera so didn't get any pictures, but a lot were taken and some will get posted. Great great time. Made some new friends meet up with some old friends and turned a lot of dirt. Daniel went all out, Food, a lot of ground to plow, food, 2 fire pits to warm up with, food, door prizes, and food. That is just the begining.
Daniel, and all the people there thanks for a great time. And to all the people that couldn't make it don't miss it next year it will only get better.

Where to begin........ it was a super day! A bit on the cold side, but the ground plowed well, and the social side was excellent! When I finally went to sleep it was still light rain. When I awoke, it was heavy drizzle, coming in sheets past the outside light. NOT a happy sight to see. But my rain gauge only showed 1/4". Went up before daylight to have some coffee waiting for those braving the gloom. When light came I took a tractor to the field to see how bad it was. I plowed a full lap with NO problems other than a little wheel slip now & then........the event was ON! Richard Steele from Campbellsville, just down the road was the first to arrive. We put up a tarp across one bay of my son's shed to provide some windbreak from the strong breeze blowing in. Then the whole gang started to arrive. So much enjoyed talking with everyone & even better, seeing everyone having a good time despite being on the cold side. When I heard people saying how much they were enjoying themselves, it really made me feel good, because that was my whole intent to show my friends a good time.
I want to thank each & everyone who came, and all those who supported my plow day. To have so many come so far was extraordinary to say the least. Lets see....states represented: Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Tennessee, Alabama, Illinois, Kentucky, and even Doug from Canada! WOW!
I worried, but you guys told me to relax, and you were right! Again everyone, thanks from the heart! You made my first ever plow day a SUCCESS! We will be doing this again!

Special thanks to Grand & Linda for bringing the banners, T-shirts (3 of shich were given as door prizes), and doing the video & pics. I was so busy I got very few pics, and I left the camera in the truck & too lazy to go fetch it.
Also a special thanks to Fred & Denise for the huge help they were with the meal fire ring and everything! And also to Steve & Rachel for bringing a large box of doughnuts!
And to KTC & WFM member "Cookiemonster" for bring tons of cookies & crackers.
And also to Peter, aka "Powerking56" for sending a $25 gas card & mini die cast tractor as a door prize.

I could go on & on, but I'm pretty tired, so I'll get some rest soon. Hope all have a safe trip home!

Great time today. Met a lot of great guys and learned a lot about plowing! Thanks to Daniel for hosting and letting me use your plow (and selling it to me). I think the event was a hit. Can't wait for next year!

I got some video but will have to do some editing. Here are some of the pictures.
