Rain IS coming, but I think it'll pass in time to settle by morning enough to allow plowing. Going to go get some things ready, and take a couple tractors up there.

It passed through here last night. I don't think we got very much rain from it. It was moving quickly. Temps dropped 20 degrees in an hour.

I worked on the trailer last night, Just have to load up tonight.

Rain just got here, but very light. I don't think it will create much of an issue, but just have to wait & see. I have 4 tractors with plows up there now, plus my Massey with front end loader. Not going to have time to get much more up there. Setting up inside my son's shed for coffee & dinner. Will give us somewhat of a windbeak. Gonna be too windy to risk setting up my canopy.

The odd thing is when setting all these 4 tractors up for plowing....the largest of them, the Massey 1010 SCUT is the most difficult to plow with! It spins out so danged easy, and the big rear tires are fluid filled! I don't have wheel weights, but I don't think it would matter. Everything else is hydrostatic, and it seems that is the best thing to plow with. The Massey 2055 may be the best to plow with even, but I didn't make a full pass with it to really know.
Robert from Alabama is bringing cookies & more also.

Dropping a patient off in Greensburg, which is close I think, kinda gloomy looking but I'm still excited. Come on tomorrow.

I got the tractor loaded, went to move the truck and the battery was dead, put the charger on it. Everything is loaded except coats, coffee and snacks.

The rain has all passed, and doesn't even register on my rain gauge! I even leaned it to the side & couldn't even get a cheating reading! Gonna be cool & breezy, but we will be able to plow, no question! I'll have plenty of coffee brewing here, so no worries there.
Doug (DHI) has already come by & we chatted a while. GREAT to meet him in person. Hard to believe he came all the way from Canada!
3 Alabama guys (Drew, Robert, and a friend) dropped off their trailers this evening also. I've been running all day trying to get a handle on things, so I should only have forgotten a dozen or so things at this point! :D

Absolutely ok Jimmy! It's drizzling now, but still not registering in my rain gauge. May be like the last time in Georgetown at David's and start out a little slick, but should dry out fast. Coffee will be waiting for ya's!

Wanted to post that Dad just called. They made it down there and are staying at the Baymont Inn. I really wish I could have made it down. It is going to be an awesome time for all of you that are going. I hope you guys get lots of pics. I sent the camera and video camera with dad. I also sent down the big banner to get all the guys to sign and I also sent down a 2' x 4' banner for Daniel to keep. Oh and we sent down tshirts to sell and also give away a couple as door prizes for Daniel.

Drizzling still, but not even 1/10" in the gauge. Wish it would stop soon so the ground surface can start drying. Even if it drizzles a while, once the sun comes out, things should dry rapidly, as it's gonna be breezy. Better being a bit later getting started than not at all. Jeff Lauber has also arrived now. My head is hurting from all the prep work & worrying.
Time to relax & get ready to have a day of fun!

George, thanks for the pair of shirts for door prizes. I have a few things also, Fred donated a door prize, plus Peter (powerking56) sent a gas card & die cast 1/64th tractor. Teresa's big batch of chili is done, Fred is cooking hot dogs tomorrow, and Denise made chili also, plus she had a surprise made for us all to have desert. We won't go hungry!
