TWC is saying a 50% chance of am showers then clear. NOAA says just 30% chance of am showers. Nervous about it, but I wanna keep the plans going at this point.

I am going to try and leave between 3:30 am and 4:00 am Saturday morning. Google show it taking almost 4.5 hours to get there, but I also lose an hour as I go east.

So I should be there around 9 maybe.

An orchard nearby will be having a big day too, weather permitting, starting at 11amEST. Just a couple miles by road, and 1/2 mile by air. They are giving hot air (tethered) balloon rides(for a charge), and $5 to get in the gate. We will EASILY see the hot air balloon rise & lower from the plow fields.

Only 1/10" to 1/4", which if early am should not be a problem. Wind predicted at 11mph, which will help the ground surface dry quickly.
Noaa is the only weather forecast giving rain amounts, and they call for am only. All services' predictions are just for am rain, 50% being the highest for Saturday am hours, 30% being the lowest on other weather services. I am leaving all as a GO for now. This ground can handle some rain & still plow ok. I plowed after 1/2" rain one time & did fine.

Might get some GREAT shots of the plow day from the balloon. For $5, I would go up and take a look with a telephoto lens..

It would be $5 plus whatever the balloon operator charges, which isn't stated, but still would be awesome to get those pics! I don't have a camera with telephoto lens. :-( Anyone with such a camera coming that would take the balloon ride & pics?

Many are coming long distances with nonrefundable hotel reservations, so if it does rain & not many show up but ground IS decent enough to plow, we will plow. If plenty of plow ready ground is left over from this weekend, we will continue the plow day on the next Saturday, November 3rd.
