Remember the deal we got at Red Roof by using their site. Might see what the ones by Daniel have for non cancelable online discounts.

Daniel I will be keeping a close eye on the weather forecast for your area. I have my fingers crossed that we get a great forecast. I am looking forward to seeing some of the members from previous shows and meeting some new members.

Looks like the Elizabethtown, KY Super 8 has the best rates in the area if you book 7 days in advance and pay in full. $47.60 / night isn't too bad at all!

Thanks for looking those rates up Steve! I have dairy coop elections tonight, so spending a lot of time campaigning for that, then all the pre-winter cleanup on the farm, payloader rebuild, and prep work for the plow day. I am physically & mentally consumed (mostly mentally). I will feel better once elections are over tonight (win or lose), so then I can concentrate on Plow Day! :dancingbanana:

I'm actually good either way. Time to do these things is getting scarcer, but if I lose, I just don't wanna get skunked! :smilewink: I'm more worried about my opponents dirty tactics. He's been known in the past to be nominated, then immediately have someone move nominations to cease, thus not giving anyone the chance against him. We were redistricted last year when my director retired from dairy, so my district became part of this guy's district.
Sorry to stray from my own thread. :hijacked: ............by my own self! :smilewink:

For those wanting to come out Friday late afternoon/evening to dial your plows in a bit, you are welcome to do so. I will be there at the field around 4pm or so. Also, if there is good plow ground left after Saturday, you can plow Sunday also, but I can't be at the field myself until 10am (I gotta milk that morning).

The second forecast must've been for Southern KY.

Hope you all have a great time. Turn a furrow for me.

Reservations have been made! They're non-refundable at this point, so I'll see you Saturday morning! I'm figuring we will roll into Elizabethtown at about 8 P.M. Friday. I made arrangements to get Friday off so that we wouldn't get in at 2 A.M.

Around 7pm or so I believe. Funny how I don't know!
