If Brian hasn't gotten to come your way before then, could you bring that Massey rear end with ya?

Sure Dan, I will try my best.

I think it is going to be a great gathering of people and tractors and a fun time to be had by all. I would really like for things to work out for me to make it down. Lots of people I would love to meet.

Had a guy from Louisville call to see if he was welcome to plow, and of course I told him heck yeah! He's a WFM green guy, and he will be forced to take a GTtalk card home with him. Funny thing is, he learned of the plow day from guys in Georgia! 2 other WFM guys are coming from Georgia that know a guy I plowed with at Georgetown, Ky who is a member here... "daDoug", from near Indy.

I am having bad luck with my diesel conversions. I blew the 10 horse in my 318, now the front cover on the 22 horse in the wheel horse won't stay sealed. Removed it to find out what is going on. The bolts had been stripped and helicoils installed. Now they are stripped out. The guy from China sent me a piece of &*(*)(_*t. Not to worry I have some real garden tractors to bring and plow with. Will be there with something.

I know that this is dependent on the weather, but I made motel reservations Friday. My wife still smokes and it is getting harder to find motels that allow smoking. We will also be going to a wedding in Virginia the second weekend in November. I also made those reservations the same day. I had to check some of the reviews for both of these hotels to make sure we wanted to stay at these locations. The reservation in Kentucky can be cancelled up till 10/26 at 6:00 pm. So if the forecast looks crappy, we can cancel. I am so hoping for good weather that we can have a good turn out

Grand, so you two are making a big vacation over this whole period of plow day thru wedding? What hotel in Ky?
The weather worries me, as nothing can be predicted anymore it seems!

No this is not a big vacation Daniel. We hope to attend your Plow Day and then two weeks later go to my niece's wedding in Virginia. The weather of course is a big factor in your Plow Day. With the option of cancelling at the last minute, I decided to make reservations. The motel I found with smoking rooms was the Baymont Inn in Elizabethtown,KY. I just hope that everything goes well, and we are plowing on the day you selected.

This sounds like it will be a fun time. I have a soccer tournament in Bowling Green that Sat & Sun. I have to figure out how to work this in. Then have to figure out what to bring as the trailer is only 18'.

Hope you can make it here. I've spent some time in "Hoptown" in my day.

ok so we have roughly 14 days left before the big show. Whats the long range weather saying? Have you been getting any or is the ground going to be hard.? New tractor almost ready to go, looking for ground to pound.

Soil is in great shape right now, and wish I had scheduled for today as I originally had planned. Today was a beautiful day to have had it. Rain predicted tomorrow and again Wednesday, but nothing major as far as amounts. The furthest predictions I can find is to the 22nd, and 18th thru the 22nd just has a 10% chance each day.

This is what I get for a weather forecast for the 27th.

As of now looks like a good day but, it's 2 weeks away, that's a long time for predicting the weather.

I'll take that forecast Doug! Like you said, much can change though. BUT, I have it from a VERY good authority that the weather WILL be super........Will had "ELF" spin a magic charm for my weather for the week of the 27th....so all will be a go! :dancingbanana:
