I am sorry I can't make it to the plow day. My daughter has her 11th birthday that weekend and we'll have a house full of pre-teen girls through noon on Saturday. Have fun and please post some photos!!

Wish you could make it Kate, but I understand! By the time you reach noon that Saturday, I'd say you'll be wishing you were plowing with us! :smilewink:

If Brian hasn't gotten to come your way before then, could you bring that Massey rear end with ya?

For those looking for attractions around the area, there is Mammoth Cave National Park but there is also Diamond Caverns just down the road from the park. The Patton Museum is really nice but GTTinkerer says it's mostly closed.

I've got a lot to get done in prep for the plow day, but I'll get it done. I am sure praying for dry enough ground! I will be up there Friday the 26th, so if someone wants to do some evening plowing, it's a go. For those still around on Sunday, if there is ground left to plow, you will be welcome to plow it.
Any more planning to come, then let me know & I'll add your name to the list.

I followed your trials this summer with the lack of rain, now it seems so odd to see that you are perhaps getting too much. Seems like the farmer's lot in life  I truly hope you have a good time, and wish I could come. Looking forward to the "afterparty" pictures

Actually rain is coming like it should. Not too much, and not too little. Drizzling right now. I'm just so worried it will be like last Fall & be raining cats & dogs. Last year most plow events within 200 miles got rained out for good. Right now the ground is perfect. More steady rains coming in tomorrow & tomorrow evening. Long way to plow day weather wise, but not for getting ready for it.

I'm still hoping to make it. I'm not sure yet whether it will be with a machine or 2 for the event, or if we just drive up for a few hours & shake some hands. That much is still up to work schedules...

Dan, if you can't bring a tractor, you can drive one of mine part of the day.

I assume you'll have the Massey w/FEL on location as well :confuse:

I plan to have most of my tractors there if I have time & they cooperate! Some I may just load onto a trailer & leave them on it.
