This is how "my" Torch River looked on Friday when Less-is-more and I went out. Fall colours were just past their peak.

Not a great pic, but a flock of geese landed in the field by the house. They have been 'visiting' a lot here lately.

Kenny there was a time when I thought those Geese were quite the thing. Now after seeing all the damage they do to crops I don't see it that way anymore. Another thing is those darned birds never sleep at night and neither does anything within ear shot of them. We live in the central flyway and I love to watch them flying over but sure don't want them landing anywhere near here.

None.  They have been planted but don't live long in my area.  Too many predators.  Lots of field rats, going to work on that with bows here shortly.
