He looks very happy, another good pic. Maybe you should have a Kawasi portfolio. Does the name have a meaning ?

IMG_2101.JPG IMG_0426.JPG Thanks, Sawdust. Our Kawasi is a female Tibetan Mastiff, named for the heroine in a Louis Lamour book, Haunted Mesa. There is a male T.M. in the book whose characteristics led me to investigate the breed and eventually end up owning two of them and breeding a litter last year. Here is a head shot of Kawasi, and one of her mate, Asia, Groucho Marx eyebrows and all.

Thats a fancy name for a dog old deeres.

Over the years I've had:  Fuzzy, Odie, Duncan, Chevy, Bandit, and the fanciest name Jasmine!

Don't know what happened to Bandit and Jasmine.  They were awesome dogs, my ex wife took them in the divorce.  I kept Duncan as he was mine.

Fuzzy and Odie passed years ago(childhood dogs) but Duncan and Chevy are still kicking and being spoiled by my parents.  Duncan is a small dog, and now that he is old he can't jump on the couch, so my mom and dad take him off and on the couch about 500 times a day.  They also hand deliver his dinner to him on the couch.

Dave your photo almost looks like a holograph or something. Very interesting. Bet it would make an interesting poster.

I was at camp last weekend and we went on a long hike.  At a campsite that I have never seen empty in decent weather, there was no one.  We went into it and followed a trail.  It came to a beaver dam.  This was the water at the head of the dam.  It was really cool and this and a couple other photographs really captured it.  Thanks for the positive feedback.

Those are beautiful water pics, Dave. Here's one I took last fall after the leaves were gone--- it looks cold and empty to me beside yours.
