I found out the name, but no pictures... It's called Caswell Copy Chrome. Might be worth looking into.

Nothing beats a new set of wheel skins. Can't wait to see it all together.

Well I got the tires on the GT today. Put the rear ones on backwards fist then turned them around. Much more clearance by the frame that way. Spent a good part of the day sanding the parts getting them ready to go back to the chromer. I can see why it cost so much to prep the stuff. You have to go from 60 grit to 120, 220,320,400. That takes a while. I got it up to the 400 and will get that done tomorrow. Here is a couple shots of the GT with the new tires on.

Spent most of the day working on it again. I finished sanding the parts to be chromed down to 400 grit then packaged them up ready to go back to the chromer Monday. I finished the deck and got it all back together other than the rollers. They are rubber so I painted them with Miller's tire paint and when they dry I will put them on. Then I did some touch up on the wheels after the tire guy mounted them. It is almost impossible not to to scratch those rimes when mounting tires. Then I started on the motor and got a lot of put back together. I forgot what a pain in the a$$ those valve keepers are to get in. The 2 piece tapered kind. No room for your fingers in there. I did finally get them and decided to quit for the day. I got a different coil and I am going to have to figure out how to wire it as it is different than the old one. I have to rebuild the carb and then it is just putting things back together and paint.
