thanks fellas, it ran and drove nice before I bought it, so I assume it has fine spark. Might tear it down and redo it down the line, but for now its got work to do. The varidrive works nice too, this thing just crawls in low low lol. Once summer gets here I'll be able to play with it more, but it might be getting a FEL now that I have a tractor that can handle one. This is so much nicer than the box store junk. Its weird seeing a tractor with an actual steering gearbox lol

You have to know Massey's are tough for that "Ugly" MF12 to still be able to go under it's own power. Heck, I think Case pulled this one out of the crusher while it was still munching it's load!

Well got to play with my new tractor a little bit today. Went out this morning and unloaded off my truck. Threw some gas in here and went to start it and only got about 2 seconds of cranking out of it and then couldnt get squat. Didnt take long to find the problem, looks like I have a little rewiring to do.

The wire burned right off the push button start the PO had installed. Got it rigged back the way he had it for now so I could use it today. Ill have to fix it right later.

Once I got that sorted out, i figured I would give her some easy work to start things off

Im really starting to take a shine to this thing. If its nice tomorrow I might even take after it with a polish rag lol. I need to find another carb for this thing though, the PO stripped out the threads for the bolt that holds the float bowl on. His solution was a hose clamp around the whole carb lol. It works, but it leaks gas. It wont run with the choke all the way off either on this carb. I have an extra one off a 10 horse teccy that was on an ariens snow blower that blew up. I need to track it down and see if it wont swap on. If I get that done I might see about tackling the garden tomorrow.
