I know what's wrong with my eyes now. I have pinkeye. Cows get it after an injury, usually due to bacteria entering the injury...usually fescue seeds stuck under the eyelids. Being I don't make it a habit of foraging in the pasture, I figure after my eyes got injured, my rubbing my eyes introduced the bacteria. I looked up the symptoms & I match them all. Mucous discharge, blurred vision from mucous over the lens, eyelids stuck together during sleep, itchy, watery, & generally miserable as he##! Last 2 nights I wake up to the itchy eyes to find my eyelids glued shut. Definitely going to the doc tomorrow to get prescription for antibiotic eye drops. You wanna see what a mad-man looks like? :bigrofl:

Looks like I just saw my favorite puppy get run over by a garbage truck don't it!

I have 4 cows to go to market tomorrow morning, but I can't drive....vision too blurred. Dad will have to drive them, but I can't help it, ju8st not safe for me driving. Teresa will drive me to the doc.

Forgo to update...yep, have a nasty infection he said. Got the drops at noon yesterday. Last night was rough, and woke this morning feeling pretty bad too, and had to milk the ows. BUT, after an hour or so, things got better. The "looking through fog halo" left & vision improved. Burning has subside somewhat & generally feeling much better. My sinus have even let up this morning. The eye drops came in little 5cc bottle......$107...my part after insurance was $60. Man do I need to switch professions!

Well, the pinkeye is BACK! I used the eyedrops the 5 days as prescribed and they seemed to clear up, but the last few days they've been acting up again. I attibuted it to allergies, but it's pinkeye again. Eyes all pink shade & muck all in my eyes again too. Good thing is there are plenty antibiotic drops left, so gonna use them till they're gone.

Both eyes burning this morning, but less muck blocking my vision, so maybe got it early this time. Didn't wake up with my eyelids glued shut anyways.

Daniel, you have had about enough stuff happen for a while. Hope it gets cleared up this time and you are done with it. I could understand you getting red eye seeing you are a massey guy but pink eye never!!!!

Talk about bad luck with my eyes....was just standing in the yard talking to my daughter's boyfriend's parents as they stopped to pick him up after spending the afternoon here. All of a sudden a beetle flies right into my left eye & my eyelid clamps shut on it, and the critter is digging & scratching my eyeball for the split second it took for me to get it out!:wallbanging::wallbanging: Sure is burning!
