Hi everyone!

I just went and picked up another Panzer the other morning. That makes 6 complete units. The other 3 are just parts and 1 parts Copar (3 wheels). The newest one came with a mower deck and a push blade. This one has a Frankensteined Tecumseh engine on it. I was thinking, "Oh boy, this ought to be a nightmare!" The gas tank was full of rust. I was a little worried.

I got it home and I disconnected the feed line, mounted a secondary tank...temporary of course, cleaned the carb checked the oil, and gave it a pull . To my amazement, it started on the second pull. I used it around the yard a bit and was more than happy with my purchase!

I took it to my parents house yesterday and my two nephews came over. I hooked a 17 cu ft trailer/wagon behind it and they took turns giving rides. The trailer was a bit rough on me but I sucked it up. My sister used a 5 gallon bucket for a seat. My brother used a lawn chair. Lol.

The kids drove it around in low for about an hour without so much as a hiccup, sputter or back fire. They drove through mud in the pasture, over a rock pile but mostly just through the yard. It only used about a quart or so of gas.

Below are some pictures and a few videos. Be sure to comment!

My sister Sarah is in the wagon being pulled on my Panzer by her son Noah. My brother Nick is also being pulled by out nephew Noah. My other nephew and some neighbor kids are shown in a picture or two as well. They bugged their mom so they could come over for a ride. This "Work horse" is gonna enjoy its retirement as a riding toy most of the time and I am going to work it like it's new....occasionally! Let's have some feedback. I like to read comments as much as post the pictures.

The camera shutter didn't open all the way on the first few pictures.

Your pics make me itch to to finish mine up and drive it. I have never even driven one before. Looks like a really nice unit from the pics. I'm glad you got another one found. Matt

Panzers really are fun. They make your back ache and are a little bumpy on the backside after about an hour or three, but the blade sure beats a shovel and rake. That's a whole different kind of ache! They don't have a lot of horse power, but they have plenty of torque. They will pull almost anything you hook to it. Especially if you feather the throttle up as the load is increases. They usually loose traction before they run out of engine. But have no fear, if you can find a spot for it, it will handle any weight you throw on it. You aren't going to break this rear end!

They leave pretty good ruts in the yard when the tires spin and dig down. I'll have to see if I can get one "stuck." Lol.

Are you guys able to watch the videos? I am not sure if they are formatted correctly. Let me know.

Great photos Clint. It looks like everyone had a great time. Panzers are one of my favorite tractors but I've never seen one. I don't think they were ever sold up here in Canada.

Nice looking tractor! Glad to hear it runs fine too!. Thank you for posting that.

Is this the one that was on KC craigslist?

Looks like your nephews found them a GT! My favorite pic is your brother in the lawnchair with his favorite beverage!

If ya get time to do it, pics of all your Panzers would be cool to see.

This one was listed on Craigslist in Illinois. I actually lost sleep wondering if and when the guy was going to call me. They don't come up for sale too often.

There is another one on Kansas City craigslist. It looks it is painted green too. Has the same style steering wheel. Has a mower deck and a snow blade. It is in Excelsior Springs, MO

Please oh Please get it repainted quickly. The color is sinful on a Panzer.

Glad another one was saved. The one here in KC was over priced for the condition.
