Its been 3 weeks but I findly got the 55 acres done. :smilewink: This is the toughest machine I have ever owned. Tomorrow I start the back 40.
Got a little help from my Dad. He is 80 and got a huge grin on his face when he got on the old Bolens.
No we did not till 55 acres but we had fun making it look like we did. :laughingteeth:

The tiller and the tractor look great. Very deceptive picture, until I looked closely at the tines lol.

Very nice tractor and tiller. Looks like it would come in handy. What are you planting in the field in the picture?

Its the feild across the road from our house. The same farmer plants my 4 acres, cash rents. He was putting out beans. With all the fields around me tilled up I could not resist putting the bolens out there and making it look like I did it. :dancingbanana: My dad told me when I got the Bolens running he wanted to drive it. As a kid I remember him talking about buying a bolens once. I think he was impressed. I had it in slow gear for him and he question the speed. I shifted to 3rd and he questioned the speed. I put it in high gear 3 and it took off almost popping a wheely and he grinned ear to ear but brought it down to a stop quickly and went back into the slower gears. You know it was only a half hour play time but it will never be forgotten! :bounce:

I think I'll show my dad your pic and not tell him it's a fake. He's all the time asking me when I'm going to get a 'big' tractor. Love the pics and that you guys had some good time together. Take care.
