Here is a picture of the old JD 430 Diesel I bought . That gives me five jd deere tractors now , ha,ha.

Don, that is a great looking 430. Congratulations. It looks to be in great shape. It must have been well cared for.

Congratulations Don, thats a real beauty. It would be interesting to compare the 430 to the newer 455's that you have!

I bought the 430 for my 1/2 scale 4020 project. Today I bought garden tractor number SIX !!! Here is a picture of this one owner Monkey Ward from the 60's . Got it cheap and going to have fun converting it to something else. Very solid old garden tractor .

Both are good looking tractors! I look forward to seeing the project from the Monkey Wards gt. It looks like a good solid unit.
