Already got this one penciled in the book. I had a blast at the fall plow day in Brockport. Really looking forward to this event. Gonna bring 3 tractors this time.

You will really like this place. It's really beautiful, the plowing is great and there's more ground to plow than there was in Brockport. I'll be plowing with the GT's at this event, had the big tractor at Brockport. See you there!

There is a good chance we will be coming up. Its not 100% but we are going to try. Probably won't bring any tractors though.

Dan, sounds like a great time, doesn't look like I'll be able to make it tho. Thanks for posting it!

Missed seeing you guys at PA Plow Day.

BTW, I did what I could with the title to make it stay caps. The periods & spaces are the only way I see.

Thanks for the pictures Kelley! That looks like it was a great day! The soil looks just right for turning. Is it hard to not build up trash with the tall grass?

Yes we had a great time at the Schlenker farm plowing. Turned out to be a beautiful day for the event. The soil was about 50% sand so it was very easy plowing. The only problem if you didn't stay on top of things and let your tires spin you would sink about 4" in a revolution of the tire. I got stuck a couple times and had to get a pulled out. Made a couple adjustments on the plow and problem was solved. Steve that tall grass wasn't really to bad or a problem. It seemed to fold right over with the dirt. Didn't notice anyone getting clogged up.

I got friday off of work last minute because it was slow so I decided to go ahead and build a sleeve hitch for my amf1014. I had several interruptions and I ended up finishing it at 4am Saturday morning. I was pretty whipped, hadn't slept yet, still had to load up and had a 45min drive so we ended up getting to plow day late (11am). When I registered I was told I was #50, not a bad turnout. By the time I got on the fields I was anxious to dial in the hitch and plow so I didn't take many pics, wish I had got some action shots. It looked like we were gonna run out of ground to plow, then I found out there was another field. Unfortunately, a lot of plowers were already loaded or loading up, not knowing there was a another field opened. My dad and I ended up finishing the last field ourselves. There was a good bit left so he parked my mf12 he was plowing with and jumped back on his 8n with two 14" bottoms. I followed the 8n with the amf (at quite an angle) and actually was able to keep up with him. The hitch worked better than I expected and we had a great day. The WNY Two-Cylinder Club put on another great event. I can't wait for the fall plow day and plan on being there early and well rested!
