thanks, this picture shows me bolting the 1/4 inch thick frame plate that supports the main bearings that the front wheels will turn on. Making good progress day two building a narrow front tractor.

Thanks again, Todays picture is the first real look of the early hood look with the narrow front wheels. I know it is going to look much different than this in two weeks. I am working on the rear fenders today.

Today I got my polished aluminum wheels with tri-ribs mounted , My grandson is going to love them. I know I sure do !, ha,ha. I also got the replacement tri-rib tire from Miller tire and they handled everything great. Now all four tractor projects are set for tires and rims. Next week I will order two new steering wheels and that is the last main parts i need.

Don that grandson of your's had better give you a big ole hug, that's going to be one heck of a nice tractor when you're all done. I like the stack that's dang near the same size as the front rims......TALK ABOUT A BOOM TUBE.

thanks, going to be a radical looking tractor for fun to drive around the backyard. I like those hugs from my grandson . I have waited 60 years to get them and they feel great !! Todays progress picture shows the early stage of shaping the hood . Lots of trimming and adding metal and shaping yet. Got to have a great imagination yet at this stage. I see I have to trim the bottom edge of the tapered side panel more.
