That sucks. I was not sure which mower deck you had so that was the part number from mine. It was worth a shot.
The surgery did not go so well tonight. I could not get the 2 set screws lose from the pulley. I rounded my allen wrench so I think I will need to get another one. I also broke the tip to my propane torch the other day so I could not apply any heat. I didn't try and get any further than that because I have to replace that seal. No point it tearing into the rest of it. If I can get some heat and a new allen wrench I will give it another shot.
I recieved some clarity on part and I'm starting to think it may work,manuals show same part used for snowcaster also. Worth a check.
Sorry to hear about setback, cooler head will prevail,approach like a puzzlebox rather than demolition job if possible. On 2nd thought, I don't think you need bother those set screws, as shaft will slide out with it. If memory is right the action is near that gear
(those are decoys unless there's some business you have with the pully inerds
