So i got the 103" belt put on my deck yeserday, the weather finally gave me a small window to mow my acreage today, mid way through the tie-rod end broke, i was able to make a temporary fix so i could finish mowing.

Does anyone know where to get the tie-rod ends? im not sure if a deere tie-rod would work? any ideas???

Not definitely sure, but the ones I've seen at TSC look the same.

i'll have to get them off and see if i can find some at TSC. what i really need to do is finish restoring my JD 214 so i can use it to mow with and then restore my mf12's. just seems like ive had alot of problems with them this summer. But hell they are old machines and getting tired. i'll let you guys know if i can pin point a part number for future use.

TSC carries a 2-pack in both 7/16th fine thread (Part#OEM-723-0448A) and in 3/8" fine thread (Part #OEM-723-3018A) around $12/set of two.

Might be a good opportunity to upgrade the tie rods to heims.

Heims are MUCH better & stronger. When I added power steering, I switched to heims.
