I just bought this Ford garden tractor and the numbers on it are 09JC3526 and 1952. Most of the info Ihave found shows the largest Koehler engine of 19 hp. This one has a 23hp. Is this the right one or has someone put it on? I've have it all running now and it .runs great. I would like to restore it but am missing a hood and side piece. Does someone have a picture of what it should look like?

Welcome to the forum! Looks like you a the elusive LGT 195 tractor! This built between '77-'84. Can't say on the engine what is going on there, should be a 20 horse according to the parts list. Speaking of parts, they are very hard to find as there were not many of these built.
A pic of one can be found here:

Great, heavy duty tractors. Remember they were built by Jacobsen.

Welcome to GTTalk. That's a very nice tractor you have there. It could have been re powered with a larger engine by a previous owner.

The LGT 195 would have originally come with a Kohler k482 (20hp). I guessing someone replaced it with a k582 (23hp). I wouldnt be concerned about the swap as the k582 is an upgrade. I own one of these myself and think its a great tractor. You should be able to use a hood and side panel off a smaller Ford LGT.

Going to correct myself. The LGT195 would have come with a K532 (20HP) not a K482 (18HP)
