Luckily he hasn't traded me in for an older model yet.

Picked up a 1930 McCormick Deering 10 20 today. Has rubber tires on it, but it came with a full set of steel wheels - those could certainly do some damage! Never had a tractor this old, so plenty to learn on it - like how to successfully get it started. The PO started it right up, so we've seen it run and Adam drove it around.

Will grab some pictures later today. Loved the owner's manual when it came to using a telegraph to get service information.

It's still on the trailer, but I could sit on it! Adam might have flooded the engine. A neighbor down the road has a 10 20 and came over to help get it going, but he thought it might have flooded too, so we'll just wait a bit.

Good to hear Adam has help. Just be sure you pay attention so when Adam asks "What did he do to make it run?" you can help him lol.

He was playing around with it when I left for an appointment. I guess he couldn't wait!

Another nice score for you guys Michelle! I hope that you have a lot of storage space. There's a certain touch to starting some of the older equipment. My buddy has an old Fordson and he can start it in 2 cranks just about every time. I could crank on it all day and get nothing but tired!

Nice looking 10 20, what I can see of it. And Adam, in case you're on the hunt....here's a new bride for ya! I told her about you & she's raring to go!

Haha. Adam got it started. My parents came over to check out my new curly hair (no pics yet Casey) and see Adam's latest tractor. Adam went to show how you would start it if it ran and vroom! It started! Took it for a ride to a friend's house down the road that has a 10 20 as well to show him that Adam got it running. A little bit of a slow ride, but not really having brakes made the hills a bit scary. We survived and I am back home safely on the couch downloading pics and video. Will post once they are uploaded!

Michelle, you have got to scan that owners manual.

Dan, I washed my eyes with clorox and I can still see that pic! :mad2:
