Just like the topic says I've got a loose left side spindle on my 1966 T120. Its got the aluminum deck. I looked on Messicks but they don't list the deck. Does anyone know how to find the deck on Messicks or know of anywhere I can get this part. Or can I just buy bearings for it? Thanks.

Thanks. There is a serial tag on it that reads 59738 1688. I don't see a model number anywhere. I tried searching both of these numbers on Messicks and came up empty. I know it has to have a model number but its just a factory aluminum deck that probably came on all these tractors.

OK, if you can find any info on my deck I'd greatly appriciate it. I got it apart and wow was it a job. Anyway it takes 1205 Federal ball bearings. I haven't been able to find any yet.

It looks like the outside of the bearing is 2.045 and the inside is .980.

That converts to 52mm x 25mm x 15mm. I'm finding a lot of those. They must be made in USA, getting hard to find anymore. My bearings are 1205 but the ones I'm finding that measure the same are 6205 and 7205, anyone know if this is ok? Suggestions are appriciated.

Also there are no seals? Thoughts?

Bearing #s may have changed over the years. If the measure the same, they will probably work for you. I'll do some searching on that model # and see what I find.

We have a manual here:
http://gardentractor...ord-mower-deck/

It is missing page #13 which is a pic of the deck parts, but #14 has a parts listing.

Awesome! None the of part numbers show up on Messicks (obsolete?) but still very nice info. Bearing number is 305438.
I've got a local lawn and garden shop thats pretty good. I called them today and gave them the bearing numbers. They couldn't cross reference it but told me to come in and they'll try to match it. Hopefully I can get bearings that aren't made in China. Ugh.
Still no model number for the deck either.

I found the bearings on Messicks thanks to that manual! I had to put JAC in front of the part numbers. The bearing was superceeded seriously like 10 times but I finally found it. Its like $32! I'm gonna check with my local guy but $32 is still better than not being able to mow anymore.

The new number is E1ADKN7600A
And that looks like a pilot bearings to some Fordsons. Looks like this won't be too bad at all.

Clutch Pilot Bearing

$6.23

Clutch Pilot Bearing.
OEM #: E1ADKN7600A.
Application: Fordson Major, Power Major, Super Major.

BEARING, CONE

JAC345050 > E1ADKN7600A > DKN7600A > JAC345050 > JAC305438

Thanks everyone. I ended up ordering them from my local guy. They cost a bit more than some of the cheaper ones I found on the net but they are BCA (National) and sealed. I'm going to pull the seal out of one side so they can still accept grease and having the other side sealed will be nice since this thing really doesn't even have seals! Just a metal shield. They are $18 each. They had cheaper ones but they said the cheaper ones are definitely made in China. They said theres a chance the BCA's are made in USA. I pick them up tomorrow so we shall see.
