I wanted to ask if anyone has a source for Wisconsin S12D parts? The Bush Hog HD-12 I just got I would like to re-ring the engine and also redo the carb on it. It runs way too rich but there is now high speed needle adjustment on it so I tend to believe that the main jet may have been enlarged at one time but I don't know for sure yet as I have not taken it apart.

I did a google search and also searched on ebay and didn't really turn anything up.

Once I find a good ebay source, I always save them as "Saved Sellers" in "MY Ebay". Lots of things won't show up on normal searches & you have to do a lot of searching, so once found, you wanna save them!

I don't remember what carb is on it. It is a good sized carb though. I will look at it tomorrow and get a name off of it. I might even pull it off the motor so I can get a better look at it.

I ordered the gasket kit from him and I noticed he doesn't take paypal. When I call him today to pay for the gasket kit I will ask him about the carb kit.

I figured out the carb is a Zenith 1408. Haven't really found a carb kit for it yet but there is a place in Ohio I want to call. I think someone enlarged the main jet because the holes are burred which was causing it to run rich above half throttle. I still need to call and make the payment on the gasket kit for the engine. Till I get home from work they are closed so I will have to call on my lunch break today.

Carquest has a carb kit, part #1666. Here's the kit on ebay already sold, but shows what it comes with.
