If you can get a picture of the front page with a digital camera for now that would be great.
When you get a chance Let me know what you have in stock and I'll take it off your hands :D

That was a model only built for 1960, according to my info.

I have a PDF of the 1961 brochure that shows a "Greenbriar", but it's listed as model # 8526, and it's painted Gold and White.

I see that Brian's seems to have been Green.

AHHHHH...another one of those "Bolens Mysteries" :laughingteeth:

Yes, I have that brochure as well
I have the partslist for the 8526 in my manuals. 1961 was the transition year from green to gold

Ok, Here she is :

Its a Bolens GreenBrier riding mower!!!! :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:

I stopped by a mower shop yesterday and asked to look in the Bone yard, so after a few minutes of looking, my heart stopped when I saw it there sitting flipped on its side in the weeds. I immediately knew what that was and I had to bring it home :D
Its in rough shape but for something this rare I couldn't pass it up for $40. This is the first time I have ever seen one of these except for them being mentioned in my Bolens books.

If anyone has a manual/ Brochure for this I would really appreciate if you could upload it here. I have manuals for the "ridemaster" mowers but not the greenbrier.

wow brian that thing is cool. great save

The Bolens Green Brier is alive!! :dancingbanana:

I cleaned up the magnets on the flywheel, gaped the points and cleaned the carb and she fired right up on the 3rd pull!
The engine runs great and dosent even smoke!
Sorry for the poor video quality :wallbanging:
I tried to see if it would move forward and reverse, but as soon as I tried to go forward it went about 3'' and the chain snapped :blush2:
