The 10 degree is a general rule and usually applies to a 10 inch plow behind a garden tractor about 3 foot wide, and you clearly have a much wider tractor. With that 10 inch plow you should be digging 5-6 inches deep, so I would set the left side of the tractor on 6 by 6 lumber (or three 2 x anythings). That will get the tractor left side sitting up 5-1/2 inches, a happy medium. Then make your bracket that angle, simple enough. Good luck with it.

And a comment for Steve, consult your good friend Alan, he told me that the 10 should dig between 5 and 6 inches no problem. Also, any Brinly manual will say the exact same figure for a 10 inch plow: 5-6 inches.
