That thing is pretty darn fast. I know my luck though it would be too fast for my own good.

Wow that thing is moving!! but I have some old locust oak that that machine isn't going to go through that easy. If at all. or will bend that splitter up. But maybe not Thanks for posting James

Yep, I was thinking the same thing. Try a piece of oak with a limb off-shoot & it would stop it dead. But still, an impressive machine!

i agree. it is awfully fast but it's splittin soft wood it seems to me. it might not have the grunt for some of the tougher stuff.

It probably has a two stage pump, would slow down and gain power in hardwood

This splitter does not use hydraulics at all.
