A neighbor has a Simplicity garden tractor that has 5212.5 and Hydro on it. I thought the 5212.5 was a model number but there is no such critter on here so I must be wrong. How do I find out what it is? Is there a plate with the model and/or serial number on it? Where?

Thanks

The model designation of the tractor would be 5212.5H. The model no. (ID no., Product no. or Mfg. no.) would be either 1691234, 1691235 or 1691473. The ID plate or sticker, I believe, should be mounted on the left side of the frame, beside the PTO lever.

Thanks for the info. The ID # is 1691473. I looked on the manuals page and it's not listed. Simplicity's web site has a manual look up but nothing comes up when I put in that ID number. Any ideas on how to get a amnual for it?

Entering 1691473 brought up four manuals, parts, operators, engine parts, and engine operation.
