Mom was 88 in March, Dad will be 88 in November.  Both 1925 babies.

As young as they look, I was wondering if they were out of grade school when they got married. Thanks for clearing it up. That pics a keeper for sure.

Great family picture Daniel, that is a real family treasure to have.  Glad the gathering turned out well.

Dad finished hooking up the backup vacuum pump before I finished milking.  Switched over to it & working super!  After milking was finished, I took the loaner pump back off & carried back to the truck.  Man, I think this thing gained weight since I carried it into the parlor!  Dad took the pump back to our supply service already in case they need it to keep someone else going.  Sawdusting the cow stalls again this afternoon.

Who needs to go to a gym when you can workout at home LOL

I had someone call me and offer a gym membership. I told them to come work wit me for a day. I hired a guy who is a weight lifter and by the end of the day he could barely walk.

Milked the cows, now heading out to spray the corn crop.  I should finish all fields except 2 fields totalling just 38 acres, which aren't ready to be sprayed yet.  Hoping for a smooth day with nothing breaking on me!  Had to postpone a vet herd check today so I could get this done.

Well I'm finally caught up. Good thing to, eyes going a bit fuzzy, hard seeing how to hook up to my ladles from my cab.

Hoping for a smooth day, but cow having a difficult calving.  I sent Josh to walk her up.  Calf is in correct position, front feet out & nose showing....but BIG!  Gotta go pull the calf now.

Calf was HUGE!  It's a heifer calf too.  Last 9 or 10 have been heifers which is a real good thing being our herd size is down.  Momma is DANGEROUS!  She came after both Josh & I, and she wasn't teasing either.  I just got through the "pass through" between the gate & the barn when she rammed the gate with her head.  A little slower & that would have been me!  A cow with a calf is way more dangerous than a bull.  A bull will usually do his thing then walk off.  A mad momma will stay till she's sure you're done for!
