He's had a good day today. Leg pain gone, and in good spirits. They are keeping him at least one more night, so he should come home tomorrow. Most of his meds have been changed, as they have been working as much against him as for him.

Member SupplySergeant and his son Eggman were here a bit ago to pick up a Brinly yard cart (tow behind). Was good to see Josh & Chris again.
Dad is on his way home now. Expected him home already, but I guess it's taking longer for them to get his insulin supply. Dr said no driving for Dad for 2 weeks, which will be hard for him to take, plus no dentures for 2 weeks also so his severe case of thrush can heal. The "no driving" part won't be taken well, that I know. Hope he will deal well with it.
Work was busier than we expected today. Feet are burning & neck hurts, but it is what it is.

I also found out today, that my friend & co-worker James' mother passeds away last night. He got word while we worked yesterday morning that she only had 24 to 48 hours to live, but didn't make it even 12 hours. Another funeral home visitation tomorrow night.

Not a lot one can say. Sure has been a lot of people leave this earth around me this year. I go get blood drawn in morning, then to my pulmonologist, then to pharmacy to get Dad's needed meds, then to tax office, then maybe to the funeral home if enough time has passed so visitation has started. Maybe some time for piddling at home in the afternoon, then tomorrow night I'll go out to Dad's at 8pm to give him his insulin shot. It's not safe leaving it for him to do, as he almost instantly forgets how to operate the pen. Can't risk him overdosing on insulin, so the insulin stuff comes home with me. My daughter-in-law volunteered to do this every night once the girl's sports things are over for the season come Wednesday night. That will be a big help!

It was good to see you yesterday, Daniel. Glad your Dad is home and working things out, did you figure out what he can eat?
Sorry to hear your friends mom passed, we'll pray for the family.

Thanks Josh! Dad's mostly eating soups and the like. Anything that is on the soft side is fine till his mouth heals from the thrush. His mom was 84, so she had a long life & didn't spend a second in a nursing home. Heck till a bit over a week ago, she was just fine, so she was quite fortunate really. She is fine now, but it's the family that will be hurting for a long long time.

Sorry about your friends Mom . It seems the older I get the more people I know pass away . I know that's not true but just seems that way
Your lift looks nice Our lift is close to the wall too , I don't know if it would be handy for you but here at work they dropped a 120v outlet and air line down the upright away from the wall . It makes it easier for the lift bay and the bay along side .
